This was so good. I made the potatoes for the non-food sensitivities people, and the yams for the people on the paleo diet. For the yams, I just tossed them with simple olive oil, salt, and pepper. For such a simple dish, it tasted REALLY good. I probably ended up having more yams then I did the potatoes. Since I made these things for the Easter gathering, I got to boss a few of my siblings around to help me out. Here I've got my brother using a mandolin to slice the potatoes and the yams. I sliced too many potatoes and ended up not having quite enough sauce. Next time I'll actually measure out my potatoes. But the flavour was awesome. The potato recipe asked for a very fancy cheese, but it was super expensive, so I just used some Swiss cheese. Get the scalloped potatoes recipe here
