Peter, Peter, Pumpkin eater.
Oh yum, oh yum, oh yum. The spice, the pumpkin, the texture.
Every time I make this, it gets eaten out in the first day. It is SO good.

Add 2 cups of pumpkin puree to the mixture, and beat well.

In a separate bowl add 3 cups of all purpose flour...
Picture
2 tsp. ground clove, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 2 tsp. ground nutmeg, and 2 1/2 tsp. ground allspice...
Picture
1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, and 1/2 tsp. salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix.

Place in two greased loaf pans. Place in an oven that has been preheated to 350 degrees. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Take the loaves out of the pan, and set on a cooling rack for 10 minutes. Then enjoy with a coffee, or just by itself!

The fact that I have no finished product picture is testimony to the fact that everyone gobbles this stuff up! :D
