Double Chocolate Chip Cookies. Mmm... they are so delicious. This recipe is mine, I took a recipe from All Recipes, and tweaked it a bit, and added a secret ingredient. Now they are my go to cookie when I need something quick and yummy.

No, I am not going to tell you my secret ingredient. :P

Take one cup of butter. Soften it. Like, really soften it. Microwave it if you have to.

Measure 1 1/2 cups of sugar, add to the butter.

Stir together until combined and a little fluffy.

Crack 2 eggs into a small bowl. Use a fork to mix the egg together.

A dash of vanilla (aka 2 tsp.)

Add the secret ingredient here, if you know it. :P
Whip everything together until it is smooth.

In a separate bowl mix 2 cups of flour...

2/3 cup coco powder...

1 tsp. Baking soda.
Picture
And 1/4 tsp. salt.

Mix it all together with a whisk.

Add to the butter mixture, and stir.

Measure out 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Add to the dough.

Scoop the dough onto baking sheets with parchment paper. Flatten the tops slightly with a spoon.

Bake in a oven preheated to 350°F for 8-10 minutes. Let cool then remove from the baking sheets and onto cooling racks.

Enjoy!

Each batch makes about 36 cookies. I made 3 batches to sell at our lemonade stand that we started to raise money for building supplies for a house we are building for a family down in Mexico.

These are all the cookies we made. There are more cookies in that thing than it looks.

Mmm... I love my cookies.
